A hit-and-run crash in the South End Monday night left one person dead and another injured, Boston police said.
Officers responded to reports that two pedestrians had been struck by a car at an intersection near Boston Medical Center Monday night, a BPD spokesperson said. When officers arrived, they found the victims, a woman and a man.
Both victims were taken to a hospital where the woman died from her injuries, the BPD said. The man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, the spokesman said.
The BPD said officers have identified the driver but have not yet made any arrests and the crash remains under investigation.
