Israeli forces eliminate Hamas leader in southern Syria

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced Saturday morning that they had eliminated the leader of the Hamas terrorist network in southern Syria.

The Israeli Air Force struck Ahmad Muhammad Fahd following IDF intelligence.

Fahd was responsible for terrorist attacks against IDF troops and Israel from the southern Syrian region, including firing projectiles towards the Golan Heights region, according to the IDF.

The Israeli Air Force said it had struck and killed Ahmad Muhammad Fahd. (FDI)

He was eliminated while preparing an “imminent” terrorist attack, the Israeli army said.

The Israeli military said it continues to work to eliminate Hamas terrorists, wherever they may be.
