Man, 55, charged with trying to prevent lawful burial in Derry

A 55-year-old man has been charged with attempting to prevent a lawful burial.

He is due to appear in Derry Magistrates Court on Monday, July 22.

The charge relates to the death of a man in Derry. The deceased man, aged around 80, was discovered in a house on Culmore Road on Wednesday, July 17.

The deceased man has been identified locally as retired orthodontist Noel O’Sullivan.
