Police are appealing for witnesses after a mass brawl which “left several people bloodied” broke out on a train heading to Manchester Airport.
Officers were called after passengers allegedly “hit, insulted and threatened others” on a stationary train at Preston station on May 11 at around 9.45pm.
Young children on the train were “visibly distressed” by the fight, police said. They have now released CCTV footage of four men they want to speak to as part of the investigation.

In a statement, British Transport Police said: “Detectives have released images of four men who they believe may assist their ongoing investigation into violent disorder on a train from Blackpool North to Manchester Airport.
“On Saturday 11th May, at approximately 9.45pm, a mass brawl broke out on a stationary train which had arrived at Preston station, with passengers punching, swearing and threatening each other and several people bleeding from their injuries.
“There were also several young children on the train who were visibly distressed by what they saw. Officers would like to speak to the men in the footage as they may have information that could assist the investigation.
