The family of missing man Lewis Goolan have been informed after a body was found in a wooded area in West Dunbartonshire.
The 28-year-old man from Dumbarton was last seen on Stirling Road at around 4am on Saturday.
Police have now confirmed that a body was discovered in Milton, just off Dumbarton Road, at around 12.40pm on Sunday.
Official identification has not yet taken place, but Mr Gollan’s family has been informed.
A police spokesman said: “There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
