Kit Harington Looks Ripped in Shirtless Photo Behind the Scenes of ‘Slave Play’

Kit Harington looked absolutely ripped in a new photo taken backstage at the West End production of ‘Slave Play’.

The shirtless photo of the “Game of Thrones” star, 37, was posted by “Slave Play” playwright Jeremy O. Harris, 35, on Tuesday, July 23.

“Kittens are gonna kill me for posting this,” Harris wrote on her Instagram Story. “Share this so he forgives me.”

The actor is currently starring in Harris’ Tony Award-nominated film “Slave Play” in London’s West End. Harington has not commented on the post as he is not active on social media.

The photo shows the star with his muscular physique and abs on display. He struck a bodybuilder pose as he stared at the camera in what appeared to be his messy dressing room.

There also appeared to be two IV bags and IVs on either edge of the image.

Harris later added the photo to a carousel of photos on his main Instagram page, celebrating the start of the West End run of “Slave Play.”

The photo caught the attention of many Harington fans on social media, with one person on X, formerly known as Twitter, captioning the steamy snap: “KIT HARINGTON I HAVE NO WORDS.”

Another person added: “Go see the play, you’ll see more! 😉”

The actor is not used to showing off his perfect physique in his films. Harington thrilled audiences with shirtless scenes in “Game of Thrones” and in his 2014 film, “Pompeii.”

Harington has been playing the role of Jim in “Slave Play” since the London production opened June 29 at the Noël Coward Theatre.

The play premiered on Broadway in October 2019. It made history by receiving 12 Tony Award nominations, breaking the then-record for the most Tony Award nominations received by a non-musical play. However, the play ultimately left without any trophies.

“Slave Play” follows three interracial couples who undergo a form of sex therapy called “antebellum sexual performance therapy” after the black partners no longer feel sexual attraction to their white lovers.

According to Harris, Harington initially had reservations about joining the cast.

“Kit was like, ‘I don’t want Kit Harington in Slave Play. It’s an ensemble piece and I’m not even the lead,'” Harris told the Guardian in February.

“He knows the weight his name carries and how it could become a distraction if we let it.”
