Devon Mostert, wife of Miami Dolphins Running back Raheem Mostert criticized “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin for calling President-elect Trump’s supporters “uneducated white women.”
During Wednesday’s episode, Hostin singled out White voters that she claimed “to have voted against their reproductive health freedoms”.
“I want to dig deeper into the demographics because black women tried to save this country again last night – 92% of black women voted for the vice president,” Hostin began. “You have Latinas in the 70th percentile voting for the vice president.”

“What we didn’t have were white women, who voted about 52 percent in favor of Donald Trump – from what I understand, uneducated white women. In fact, Latino men vote for him more… So why do you think uneducated white women voted against their reproductive health freedoms and why do you think Latino men voted in favor of someone who says that he will expel the majority of [their] community,” Hostin asked ABC political news director Rick Klein.
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin chimed in, saying, “I don’t think white women like to be called uneducated white women.”
But Hostin responded: “That’s what the polls say.”

Devon Mostert responded to the remarks in several social media posts, accusing Hostin of what she called “racist comments.”
“Uneducated white woman here,” Devon wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Sunny, I guarantee I can teach you any political topic, any day.” She added in another message that if the “role was reversed,” there would be “outrage.”
“Racism can take any form possible. And ALL WAYS are disgusting and unacceptable.”

Devon also added that she was often subjected to “racial comments” due to being in an interracial relationship for over a decade.
“Mean people will be mean people. Regardless of skin color. You either want a better world or you don’t. Make racist and DIVIDING comments but you are upset, racism still exists…n ‘isn’t that hypocrisy at its best??!
