Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, is engaged to bandmate Justin Long.
The 26-year-old “hit your knees” singer shared the news Friday morning as part of her Instagram tribute for Long’s birthday. Long, unlike the “Dodgeball” star of the same name, is primarily known for the music he performs and produces.
Jackson described their relationship, which began in 2022, as “an indescribable whirlwind” and said she “couldn’t ask for someone more perfect to do all this with.”
“Thank you for letting me be yours.” I love you,” she concluded the carousel of sweet photos and videos from their romance, which included a photo of Long on one knee.
Jackson dedicated his Instagram Story to dozens of memories of their time together and shared more photos from the proposal, ending with a close-up of Long putting a diamond on her ring finger.
The Daily News has reached out to Jackson’s representatives for comment.
Jackson and his siblings, Prince, 27, and Bigi, 22, are in the spotlight far less than their famous father, who died in 2009 at the age of 50.
That hasn’t stopped the Jacksons from encountering some of the pitfalls of fame. In September 2023, Paris sought an injunction against a man she said was stalking her and went so far as to climb her fence.
In 2018, Jackson told Rolling Stone that she attempted suicide several times while trying to cope with the sudden death of her father.
The following year, sources said that cyberbullying, much of which referenced the sexual abuse allegations against Michael Jackson, had turned his daughter “a hard shell with a soft center.”
