‘Gentle Giant’ Dog Obsessed With Doll Like He Came Out Of A Horror Movie

The moment a woman’s ‘gentle giant’ dog runs to retrieve her rather terrifying ‘baby’ has gone viral in a video that ends with an image worthy of a horror movie.

Darcie Bullock is walking in the sun with her black Labrador when she asks her a question: “Where is your baby?”

And when he dropped it at his feet, TikTok users were left in pieces.

Bullock shared the clip to her @darciebullock account on July 15, while she and her four-year-old dog, Odin, were walking in the Montana countryside.

In this film, Odin rushes out onto the road to retrieve his “baby”, sniffs some grass, then rushes back to its owner before happily dropping the object at her feet.

The camera then cuts to a half-eaten baby doll, with no hair or clothes, covered in bite marks and dirt, and its bottom half completely eaten away.

Bullock jokingly assured users in the caption of her clip that “no babies were harmed in the making of this video, just a gentle giant.”

TikTok users were taken aback by the unexpected ending to the video, which racked up nearly 60,000 likes and nearly a million views in just a few days, with one writing: “I totally did not expect this.”

“The way he threw that baby at your feet,” one wrote, and another joked: “He said, ‘Hey, you’re babysitting.'”

“This baby has seen better days,” another said, while another pointed out that “this baby has all kinds of puncture wounds.”

One TikTok user ignored all the damage, instead joking that the doll was “very loved.”

And someone aptly compared the doll to something out of Toy Story: Viewers of the 1996 Disney phenomenon will remember the boy-neighbor’s mutant toys, made by mashing two toys together, including a baby doll with a severed head, no eyes and spider-like legs.

Darcie Bullock’s black Labrador retriever Odin eagerly went to pick up his ‘baby’. TikTok users were horrified by what he dropped at her feet.

Labrador retrievers like Odin are one of the most popular breeds in the United States, coming in at number two on the American Kennel Club’s 2023 list of popular dogs.

Labs were the most popular breed for 31 years until 2022, when they were replaced by the French Bulldog, but many Americans count them as their favorite pet.

Known for their friendly and outgoing nature, Labrador Retrievers are recognized by the AKC for being affectionate with family, good with young children, and good with other dogs, in addition to being known for their friendliness.
