Two people aboard a small plane were injured Sunday when their plane crashed at a golf course in Carson, authorities said.
The plane – a single-engine, fixed-wing Sling LSA – crashed into the Victoria Golf Course on Martin Luther King Jr. Street just before 4 p.m., according to emergency radio scanners. Responding firefighters found two injured people on board the plane, although it was not immediately clear what condition they were in.
Footage of the incident shows the plane crashed into a tree on the golf course, just steps from a putting green where many golf balls lay.
It was not clear if there were other people on the plane.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
