A 26-year-old man was stabbed Saturday afternoon on a busy shopping street in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, police said.
First responders arrived at 73rd Street and Third Avenue around 1:56 p.m. following a 911 call and rendered aid to the victim, who had suffered a stab wound to the abdomen.
The injured man was transported to NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, where he was listed in critical condition.
There was no immediate arrest. It’s unclear what sparked the attack on the commercial stretch, which is a popular spot for restaurants. Police are looking for two men who fled on foot.
