AI firm takes 36,000 sq ft at Manchester Goods Yard
Peak AI will sublease space within Allied London’s 300,000 sq ft Enterprise City tech hub from Booking.com for the next five years.
The AI company plans to relocate around 200 staff from Neo on Charlotte Street to 36,000 sq ft at Manchester Goods Yard.
Booking.com signed a 225,000 sq ft pre-let at MGY in 2018. Following the sublease to Peak AI, the firm will occupy four floors within the building, which is fully let aside from some plug-and-play suites available on the mezzanine level.
Allied London managing director Mike Ingall told Place North West he was “delighted” to have secured the Peak AI deal.
As well as Booking.com, Peak AI will join video game developer Cloud Imperium at MGY. Cloud Imperium signed a deal for 85,000 sq ft last year.
Peak AI was founded by Richard Potter, David Leitch and Atul Sharma in 2015 and specialises in using artificial intelligence to enhance commercial decision-making.
The company’s clients include Bruntwood, AO, and Pretty Little Thing.
Peak AI’s Manchester office is one of six sites around the world. The others are in New York, London, Jaipur, Pune and Mumbai.
OBI acted for Booking.com and Carney & Co acted for Peak.
