Amanza Smith’s Stylist Apologizes to Chrishell Stause and G Flip After ‘Homophobic’ Comments on ‘Selling Sunset’

“Selling Sunset” star Amanza Smith’s stylist has apologized to Chrishell Stause and her partner, G Flip, for allegedly making “homophobic” comments toward them.

In a lengthy Instagram post, stylist Sammie Moussallem said the incident between him, Stause and the Australian musician stemmed from “something that happened in 2021” and was a private matter that became public.

“I take full responsibility for my actions and words, yesterday and today. I don’t want to focus on the past, but move forward and learn from this experience,” he said, referring to his accusation that the real estate agent was a “fake lesbian.”

“I sincerely apologize to Chrishell and G Flip. I now fully understand the impact of my comments and I am truly sorry. It is not my place, nor appropriate, to comment on anyone’s private life. I am committed to working on myself and how I respond to future situations.”

Moussallem also apologized to Smith for “any stress or harm my words and actions may have caused you, both personally and professionally.”

He said he was “grateful for the opportunities” Smith had given him and truly valued the relationship they shared.

Moussallem concluded his message by apologizing to the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies, saying he was a “proud advocate” and committed to “listening, learning and growing to be a better representative for all.”

During Season 8 of “Selling Sunset,” which premiered on Netflix on Sept. 6, Stause, 43, told Smith, 47, that she wouldn’t attend her birthday party if Moussallem was there.

“Your stylist is coming to your birthday party? He’s super homophobic and he attacked us and G Flip,” she said.

“I won’t be in the same room as him.”

In a confessional, the “All My Children” alum, who married G Flip, 30, in May 2023, said the stylist “went on a very public rant,” claiming she was a “fake lesbian,” “nothing but a green card for G” and that she needed to “put some f–k in my hole.”

Smith decided she wouldn’t allow Moussallem to come to her party, which Stause said meant a lot to her at the time.

Season 8 of “Selling Sunset” is available to stream on Netflix.
