In response to a question about whether she has tried the bright orange soda, she wrote: “I’m trying to get my fingers in some!

“So far it has been non-stop work without any real independent time, so I hope for a window to find some.

“The schedule requires us to leave early and return late.

“Where can I find it? Do you have any bodegas here?”

Later, the congresswoman was thrilled to announce that she finally got some – but stopped saying what she thought of it after her first try.

In response to another question, she said she also wants to “touch Harris’s tweed and see a castle”.
