Are ALDI and Mariano’s open on Christmas Eve? –NBC Chicago

A large majority of grocery stores will be closed at Christmas, so for those planning a heavy holiday, you’ll probably want to plan well in advance.

If you don’t start cooking until the day itself, make sure you have everything you need before the grocery stores close for the holidays on Christmas Eve. And be aware that many stores will be operating on reduced hours, so a last-minute shopping spree may need to happen earlier than it usually would.
