Assault in Stourbridge leaves smashed Post Office window and two men injured

A MAN has been stamped on during an assault in Stourbridge that also saw another man pushed through a Post Office window.

The incident happened just after 3:30 pm on July 15 after its believed a man remonstrated with two other men who were riding their bikes on the pavement.

He was then assaulted and stamped on.

Another man, aged 57, who came to the victim’s aid, was pushed through a Post Office window, which caused cuts to his legs.

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to help with their investigation.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “If anyone saw what happened or offenders making off from the scene on bikes then please get in touch. Quote crime ref
