BART to lift COVID mask requirement for riders on Monday

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Starting Monday, you’ll no longer have to wear a mask when riding BART.

BART officials say they could reinstate it if the current uptick in COVID cases continues.

In April, all federal, state and local mandates requiring masks on public transit were lifted.
