The bodies of a man and woman aged 80 have been found after police searched a river in the Fens in Cambridgeshire.
Police were called to Chain Bridge, near March, at around 08:35 BST on Saturday following reports of concern for the welfare of a couple.
The woman’s body was discovered in the water on Saturday afternoon and the man’s on Sunday afternoon.
Police are not treating the deaths as suspicious and have forwarded their files to the coroner.
Ahead of the discovery, Detective Inspector Lee Womack said he would like to appeal to anyone who was driving in the area on July 10 and who may have dashcam footage of a silver Vauxhall Astra, or the man and woman, to get in touch.
