Happy trails from the Springsteens.
Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa went for an Easter Sunday horseback ride, according to a Sunday, April 17, post on Patti’s Instagram account.
The two appear to be on a trail at their Colts Neck home. Patti’s wearing an auburn-brown suede jacket with sunglasses and Bruce has a puffy sage-green vest over a cranberry sweater.
“Windy Easter Day Ride,” Patti, 68, said. “Hope everyone finds a way to be with someone they care for and share some love and support, regardless of your faith.”
Flower and butterfly emojis were added. The post went up shortly after noon.
Patti has ridden horses all her life and Bruce, 72, has taken it up in recent years. Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder recently told of his experience riding with the Springsteens in Colts Neck.
“You look great on a horse,” said Vedder to Springsteen on a promo interview filmed in Springsteen’s home for Vedder’s solo album, “Earthling.”
Vedder’s horse went for an unexpected gallop.

“I used all my big wave surfing skill to stay on board,” Vedder said.
Jessica Springsteen, Patti and Bruce’s daughter, won a silver medal at the recent Tokyo Olympics for equestrian jumping.
