West Mercia police say the incident happened just after 9pm on Monday when a man walked into a Nisa store in Holly Road, Little Dawley and paid for a few small items.
The incident happened just after 9pm on Monday, November 8, when a man walked into a Nisa store in Holly Road, Little Dawley, and paid for a few small things. While waiting for his prey, he pointed a small knife at the cashier and demanded £ 100.
The cashier refused to hand over the cash and the perpetrator left the store.
Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to talk to while their investigation continues.
Detective Ben Poppleton of West Mercia Police said: “We are eager to talk to the man in the CCTV picture as we believe he may have information that may support our ongoing investigation.
