The CFTC Commissioner appoints a senior policy adviser with experience in regulating digital assets
Caroline Pham, who currently serves as a commissioner at the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or CFTC, has announced that a former head of U.S. law policy at investment banking firm Credit Suisse Securities will join her staff.
In a Friday release, Pham writes said Keaghan Ames will be her adviser and senior policy adviser at the CFTC from May 23rd. Ames worked at Credit Suisse for more than two years as Vice President and Head of U.S. Legislative Policy, which included advising executives on digital asset regulation. He will join the CFTC from the Institute of International Bankers, where he has been Director of Government Affairs since July 2021.
