Commuter amazed as store in London sells a single packet of chips for £ 7

A commuter admitted they were left sluggish after seeing a shop in London selling chips for £ 7.

The guy saw the expensive packets of chips as he passed through Leicester Square tube station.

He noticed that a single pack of ‘American’ Cheetos was sold for an extortionate £ 6.99

The man shared the photo of this crisps on his Facebook page and wrote: “£ 7 quid crisps !! What is it about ?? Leicester Square tube.”

He was not the only one who was outraged by the award as many wrote a comment on his post.

One user wrote, “As an American, I can say they are not worth it.”

While another added: “Choice it is not. My son noticed that our off-license in Essex sells exactly the same for £ 2.”

“They cost £ 1.40 where I live,” wrote a third, asking, “Who wants them for a fiver including postage?”

While another chimed in: “We went to a kiosk on Canon Street the other way that would have £ 20 for twenty Marlboro. We laughed and went out.”

Others said that even with the extra cost of importing goods from the US, they usually cost just over £ 2.
