LIVERMORE — Crews were battling a brush fire northeast of Livermore Thursday night.
The Flynn Fire broke out around 9:45 p.m. along westbound Interstate 580, west of North Flynn and Carroll roads, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
“The fire is now 100 acres in size with a moderate rate of spread,” the fire department said in a social media post around 10:20 p.m.
People have been advised to avoid the area.
