Cups sold at Wawa stores recalled after their metal straws cut off customers

About 60,000 cups sold at Wawa stores in eight states and the District of Columbia have been recalled after their manufacturer received four reports of laceration injuries, according to an advisory released Thursday by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission .

The metal straws in the cups pose a risk of cuts to consumers’ hands and mouths, the advisory states.

The cups were sold in four styles: “The Mermaid”, pink and green, “Island Surf”, blue and yellow, “Sailor Breeze”, beige and orange, and “The Galaxy”, blue. and pink. All have a beige lid.
