WASHINGTON, DC – Tiffany Wiggins, 38, of Southeast died from gunshot wounds she received Sunday morning in the Benning area, according to a police release.
Officers from the Sixth District of the Metropolitan Police Department found Wiggins inside a vehicle around 11:16 a.m., after being called to the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast for the report of a shooting. Wiggins was unconscious, not breathing and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
DC Fire & EMS personnel examined Wiggins and determined that she had died. Later, they transported her body to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $ 25,000 for anyone who supplies information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person responsible for a homicide in the District.
