In addition to the regular episodes of the series that aired until 2012, there were also a number of Disney Channel crossover episodes, such as one featuring the cast of “The Suite Life on Deck” and “Hannah Montana,” titled “Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana.” The cast of “Wizards of Waverly Place” was also the focus of a television movie starring the Russo family.

CELEBRITIES YOU MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN APPEARED ON NICKELODEON SHOWS EARLY IN THEIR ACTING CAREERS

Lovato has had few film roles since her Disney Channel debut, but her music career has taken off with hits like “Confident,” “Heart Attack” and “I Love Me.”

Lovato has spoken about her acting career on several occasions.

“When I came into the industry at a young age, I guess I made a conscious decision: ‘Are you willing to sacrifice a normal childhood for your hopes and dreams?'” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

“At Disney, you were instantly a role model, whether you liked it or not,” Lovato says. “And because the Disney Channel was so big at the time, there was also this unspoken pressure: If you made a mistake, you knew there were millions of people waiting to take your place.”

5. Zendaya

Zendaya has starred in many popular films over the years, including several Spider-Man movies, alongside her real-life love, Tom Holland. She has also starred in Malcolm & Marie, The Greatest Showman, and Dune.

Although Zendaya spent many years on the Disney Channel, “Spider-Man” was one of the first major film roles she received.

When she first auditioned for “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” Zendaya was unknown to producer Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

“Neither one nor the other [Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige] “I didn’t know who she was,” Pascal admitted to Vogue.

“She wasn’t wearing any makeup and she was just dressed like a normal girl, and we were like, ‘Oh my God, she’s amazing. She has to be in the movie,’” Pascal said.

“Then we found out she was a very famous person and we felt really stupid.”

6. Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is now a star and gained popularity when she was young, acting and performing on stage under the name Hannah Montana.

Cyrus starred in the Disney Channel television series “Hannah Montana” from 2006 to 2011. In the series, she played a normal teenager, Miley Stewart, who was secretly the identity of the famous superstar, Hannah Montana.

Cyrus released several of her early hits under the name Montana and even performed as a headliner at sold-out shows.

After spending many years under the name Montana, she began releasing music under her own name and continued acting, including in the film “The Last Song” with Liam Hemsworth.

Cyrus adopted a much bolder look and underwent a rebranding as an adult.

Although she has spent many years seemingly away from her Disney days, she did appear at the D3 2024 Expo, where she was named the youngest Disney Legend.

At the ceremony, Lainey Wilson sang “The Best of Both Worlds,” the theme song from “Hannah Montana.”

In her speech, Cyrus spoke about auditioning for “Hannah Montana” at Disney’s Burbank offices, “where rumor has it they’re making us all Disney kids,” she joked.

“I certainly wasn’t created in a lab, but if I was, there must have been a bug in the system that caused it to malfunction between 2013 and 2016.”

The audience laughed and she added, “Sorry, Mickey!”
