Donald Trump rages against Biden’s departure in wild late-night rant: ‘It’s not over!’

Donald Trump continued to shrug off talk of political unity by lambasting President Joe Biden on Sunday night after he dropped out of the 2024 race.

The former president used his Truth Social platform to peddle conspiracy theories and hurl insults at Biden.

“This is not over! Tomorrow Joe Biden will wake up and forget he dropped out of the race today!” wrote Trump, who has faced questions about his mental health.

Trump then claimed that Biden, who continues to be treated for COVID-19 after testing positive on Wednesday, “never had” the disease.

The former president has previously been hospitalized with COVID-19 and has downplayed the disease after hundreds of thousands of Americans died during his time in the White House.

“He is a threat to democracy!” Trump said in the message.

The Republican candidate continued his rant by advancing another conspiracy theory about the president: “Who is running our country right now? It’s not dishonest Joe, he has no idea where he is. If he can’t run for office, he can’t run our country!!!”

Trump’s collapse came hours after Biden’s historic announcement and endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris, a move that has already drawn attacks from Republicans, including at least one who compared it to a “cut.”

The Trump campaign released a statement earlier in the day calling Harris a “joke” and “Crooked Joe’s accomplice in chief this whole time.”
