Donald Trump storms off stage after loud noises at rally

Donald Trump was removed from the stage at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, after gunshots reportedly rang out in the crowd.

Trump was holding up a chart of border crossing numbers when gunshots began to ring out in the crowd. Trump could be seen reaching his right hand toward his neck. There appeared to be blood on his face.

He quickly hid behind the podium as his security guards rushed onto the stage and shouts rang out from the crowd. The beatings continued as officers dealt with him on stage.

The crowd cheered as he stood up and raised his fist.

His motorcade left the scene. His condition was not immediately known.

Police began clearing the fairgrounds shortly after Trump left the stage.

The U.S. Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies did not immediately respond to messages.

As he left the mass in Rehoboth Beach, President Joe Biden simply replied “No” when asked if he had been informed of the incident.
