Dua Lipa had to make a difficult decision.
The “Don’t Start Now” singer was left “heartbroken” to announce that she had canceled her Nov. 9 concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, fearing the stage would be too dangerous to perform on.
“I’m here in your wonderful country and ready to perform,” Lipa wrote in a November 8 Instagram story, “but I’m sorry to share that it was determined that it was not safe for the show to go ahead. continue for security reasons.

And the 29-year-old – who was due to take the stage at the Indonesia Arena as part of her ‘Radical Optimism’ tour – admitted that many of her fans had been waiting for the concert for a long time.
“It really pains me that we can’t perform for all of you,” Lipa continued, “especially after so long since my last performance in Jakarta.”
Ending her message, the Grammy winner assured her fans that they would receive refunds for their tickets.
“I love you all,” she added, “and I really look forward to being in the same room with you again, singing and dancing our hearts out as soon as possible.”

Lipa kicked off her “Radical Optimism” tour in November, six months after the release of her third album of the same name.
