Footage of Man City manager being chased by a fan – GiveMeSport

Pep Guardiola’s life is certainly one to be envied.

The Spaniard was a world-class footballer in his pomp and is now revered as one of the greatest managers the sport has ever seen.

As a result of his achievements, Guardiola is worth an enormous amount of money – around $40 million according to Sports Brief.

Rich, good-looking and a bona fide footballing legend? Yeah, being Pep sounds pretty good to us.

However, one downside to living his life is the fact that he’s rarely able to have some privacy.

If he’s out and about in Manchester, hundreds of people will ask him for a picture, which can’t be particularly fun.

And the lengths some will go to in order to get a picture with the City boss have been highlighted in a video recently uploaded to TikTok.

While Guardiola was having a little night time cycle in Manchester city centre, a very eager fan spotted him.

The man in question proceeded to chase the Barcelona legend down a very narrow alleyway near Parsonage Gardens in Manchester, while shouting: “Aye Pep, let me get a picture bro! Yo! My man’s smokin’ off, yo! Aye Pep! Yo, nah nah you man need to see this! Oh my god!”

After he finally caught up with Guardiola – who didn’t look amused at all – the filmer of the video attempted a fist-bump, which was refused.

“Yo Pep! Let me get a picture, why you running off bro, let me get a picture bro!” the fan said. “Let me get a picture, I just want a picture! I just want a picture, yo my g!”

Guardiola really wasn’t impressed with the fan’s actions and to be fair, who can blame him?

The guy just wanted a peaceful cycle, not to be chased by someone waving a phone in his face.

Guardiola’s work for the 2022/23 season will commence shortly, with City’s pre-season tour in the United States of America beginning next week.

The Premier League champions will play both Club America and Bayern Munich, before jetting back to England for the Community Shield meeting with Liverpool on July 30th.
