Hacienda Classical announces Castlefield Bowl and Royal Albert Hall shows for 2022 – in the 40th anniversary year of the Manc superclub

Fresh from its Warehouse Project rave in Manchester this weekend, Hacienda Classical has confirmed two huge concerts for 2022 – the 40th anniversary year of the iconic super club in the center.

2022 is four decades since the FAC51 Hacienda first opened its doors back in 1982, transforming the run-down, central Manchester yacht showroom into what has become one of the most iconic and influential nightclubs in history.

The first Hacienda Classical events to be announced will celebrate forty years with The Hacienda throughout 2022, and include a return to the Castlefield Bowl at Manchester on Friday the 8th. th July 2022 to what has now become the annual homecoming party that was sold out year after year and now takes place for record six times.

The full Castlefield line-up will see Soul II Soul perform live, plus DJ Paulette, Peter Hook and Tom Wainwright perform DJ sets.

Hacienda Classical returned to the Castlefield Bowl in 2021 – now it will be back for a 40th anniversary special in 2022

Hacienda Classical will also return to London’s Royal Albert Hall on Friday the 13th th May 2022, fifth time at the prestigious venue after selling out our previous four visits.

The Royal Albert Hall show is joined by Hacienda Classical accompanied by K Klass live and DJ Paulette.

The Hac, on Whitworth Street, portrayed the emergence of indie to the mid-80s and then redefined club culture as the scene adapted to the new dance music sounds in Britain and the United States that changed the cultural soundtrack.

Considered the UK’s cathedral for house music and then the epicenter of the “Madchester” scene, The Hacienda continues to inspire generations new and old, producing world-class events that remain true to the ethos and integrity that guided the original club.
