Andrei’s mother, Iolanda, paid tribute to her son, saying: “This is Andrei, my son full of dreams. He was going to take his baccalaureate and go to Câmpina and wanted to become a police officer.

“Andrei had been playing sports since he was four years old. He was a warm and loving man, a good brother, an angel who left us far too early, leaving behind an ocean of sadness, both in his family and among his friends.”
