Help Epping scheme get chosen for Tesco Community Grant

SHARE your vote to support young people and children with disabilities ahead of an upcoming Tesco community grant.

The Epping Forest Inclusion Project, which supports young people with learning or physical disabilities, has been chosen by Tesco as part of its community grants scheme.

Residents who want to vote for the project can visit three Tesco stores in the area between now and March 16 to help secure the cash.

The programme supports children and young people with learning difficulties or disabilities through sports and leisure activities.

The stores where you can vote for the Inclusion Project are Tesco Superstore in High Street, Epping, Tesco Express, in High Street, Chipping Ongar and Tesco Express, in Coppice Row, Theydon Bois.

If the scheme collects enough votes, the funding will go towards running the programme and buying more specialised sports equipment to support children in activities.

Aniket Patel, Epping councillor responsible for wellbeing and community partnerships, said: “The Inclusion Project is so popular with children, young people with disabilities, and their parents.

“It would be great if we could get as many people as possible to vote for this worthwhile project while shopping in one of these three Tesco stores in our district.”
