Brittany Cartwright played the long game before announcing her split from Jax Taylor, and she wasn’t just revamping her emotional wardrobe.
In an interview with Daily Mail Published on Wednesday, September 18, the 35-year-old Vanderpump Rules One former student explained that she opted for an AirSculpt fat removal and skin tightening procedure in the spring, preparing for her “revenge body” before the divorce papers were released.
“I feel great these days after getting AirSculpt,” she told the publication. “Yeah, you could say I wanted a revenge body. I wanted to look good after everything I’ve been through this year. I want to be my best self. I wanted to get my glow back.”
Cartwright went on to explain that going solo was a big change for her. “I’m working on myself because I need to heal. To be honest with you, I thought I was going to be with Jax forever, so this is so new for me. I need time to heal and move on.”
The reality TV sensation and Taylor, 45, first crossed paths in Las Vegas in 2015. Their whirlwind romance quickly became the center of much fanfare on the hit show. Vanderpump Rules and their own spin-off, Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky. Although they stepped away from the spotlight in 2020, their relationship continued off-camera. In March 2024, the couple made their return to television, starring in Bravo’s new reality series, The Valley.
