Six-time WWE Champion Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, said he was joking when he made comments about US Vice President Kamala Harris.
Hogan attended a promotional event for his new beer brand in Ohio on Monday. At one point during the event, the retired wrestler suggested he might be willing to perform a wrestling move on the Democratic presidential nominee.
“You want me to body slam Kamala Harris? You want me to drop the leg on Kamala?” the crowd at the Ohio bar asked.

Hogan then questioned Harris’ Indian heritage. “Is Kamala a chameleon? Is Kamala Indian?” the 71-year-old asked.
Harris, a Democratic presidential candidate, is biracial. Her mother is from India, while her father was born in Jamaica.

But Hogan suggested the remarks did not represent his true personality. He also blamed the comments on the amount of alcohol he had consumed at the bar.
“I’m gonna get fired for this, bro. It wasn’t me. It was the beers talking.”
The legendary wrestler delivered a speech at last month’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
At one point in his speech, Hogan said he was upset when they “shot my hero.” The comment was a reference to the assassination attempt, which took place in Pennsylvania in July. He then removed his vest and ripped off Hogan’s “Real American” T-shirt to reveal a Trump-Vance 2024 T-shirt — in classic pro wrestling fashion.
“That was enough, and I said, ‘Let Trump-a-mania run wild, brother. Let Trump-a-mania reign again. Let Trump-a-mania make America great again,’” he shouted, flexing his muscles.
In 2015, Hogan told TMZ that he wanted to be Trump’s running mate. However, it was Mike Pence, then governor of Indiana, who was considered for the Republican nomination.
Hogan, like Trump, is a WWE Hall of Famer. The 70-year-old’s wrestling career spanned more than five decades and he made his name in what was then known as the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling. He also appeared in TNA Wrestling.
In addition to his professional wrestling appearances, Hogan has also starred in several films and television shows, including “Rocky III,” “Thunder in Paradise,” “Mr. Nanny” and was the subject of the reality television show “Hogan Knows Best.”

The Georgia native is no stranger to controversy. He was involved in a sex tape lawsuit against Gawker. Hogan was also removed from the WWE Hall of Fame for a few years due to racist remarks. Hogan eventually apologized and was later reinstated.
