This family benefits.

A mother-of-five has shared her family’s shocking approach to getting their daily dose of calcium.

He now adds it to his protein shakes at least three times a week.

“He wanted to see how it would help him recover after intense workouts and surprisingly, it really helped!” » The Deity said to Caters.

“I had tried it before, but it was my husband’s first experience,” she explained. “My husband is a boxer and we both heard that breast milk sells for around $5 an ounce for bodybuilders, so we thought we’d add it to his protein shakes and see if it helps maintain muscle .”

The Paterson, New Jersey, family now uses breast milk for more than just shakes; they also enjoy it in milk baths and even make butter for toast as part of their unconventional lifestyle.

Divinity has been experimenting with different ways to use up her excess milk. The family particularly enjoys churning it into butter.

“It turns out smooth and silky, making it a great addition to morning toast,” she explained.

After having his first sip in August, Isaac now adds his wife’s breast milk to his shakes, insisting its high protein content has significantly benefited his workout.

While Isaac is excited about its high protein content, Divinity mentioned that his older children use it for natural healing but don’t drink it.

Butts said her older children “think it’s weird” to drink their mother’s breast milk, but they use it “as a natural healer” for homeopathic remedies. @divinitymarquita / CATERS NEWS

“My older kids think it’s weird, but I still love that it’s a natural remedy for everything, scars and all,” she said.

Although he has received criticism online for his choices, Divinity says it doesn’t bother him. She actually wishes more people would recognize it as a natural practice and encourage others to explore its uses as well.

“As for butter, I figured if you could use the fat from heavy cream to make butter, why not breast milk? It was entirely my idea! » said the Divinity.

“I think more people should understand that it’s not weird, it’s natural.”
