Ten U.S. service members were injured in an incident Wednesday night at Naval Air Station Fallon, police in Reno, Nevada, said. Fallon is about 60 miles (96 kilometers) east of Reno.
The 10 men were flown to Reno for treatment. They were flown by helicopter and landed at 9:15 p.m. in Reno’s Pickett Park, police said.
Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno told CBS Reno affiliate KTVN-TV that all 10 people were being treated there, but did not provide information on the severity of their injuries.
There has been no further information about the incident in which they occurred.
