Social media star Jake Paul beat boxing legend Mike Tyson in a highly anticipated fight with an age difference of more than three decades between the two contenders. The Friday night victory for the YouTuber turned professional boxer was streamed on Netflix from home of the Dallas Cowboys in Texas.
Paul defeated Tyson by unanimous decision after both fighters went eight full rounds, with each round lasting two minutes. Tyson came out strong, but faded as the fight progressed, while Paul gained confidence and seemed to have Tyson on his heels for the later rounds.

After the decision was announced, both fighters embraced. Paul was complimentary of Tyson, calling him “a legend and the greatest to ever do this. He’s the GOAT. I admire him, I’m inspired by him. This man is an icon.”
Tyson said he was “absolutely happy” with the way he fought, describing Paul as a “very good fighter”.
“I haven’t proven anything to anyone, only to myself,” Tyson said and, when asked, didn’t rule out a return to the ring.
Fight the night for the Tyson, 58 years old and Paul, 27, came following doubts about whether it would happen. The fight was originally scheduled for July, but it was postponed after the former heavyweight champion suffered a flare-up on a plane in May.
