Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized in Georgia nearly a week after his daughter revealed the actor suffered a “medical complication,” a source familiar with the matter told CNN Monday.
Last week, his daughter Corinne Foxx shared on Instagram that her father had a health incident last Tuesday, but did not elaborate on what happened. She added in her post that thanks to “quick action and good care,” her father was “on the mend.”
CNN reported Friday that Foxx was hospitalized and undergoing medical tests.
Foxx was in Atlanta filming the Netflix movie “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz. The source previously told CNN that the medical incident did not occur on set and that Foxx was not transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Another source close to the film’s production told CNN on Friday that filming was “currently underway” and expected to wrap this week.
The source did not specify whether Foxx had any more scenes to film or if he would be back on set.
