Columnist J. Peder Zane says Kamala Harris is just a cog in the Democratic machine. We shouldn’t really focus on what Kamala knows or believes. No one actually votes for Harris. Democrats vote for the party, not the face of the party. So when President Biden turned to Craggy, she was chosen as a younger, more attractive spokesperson. Like Biden, her vapidity is her charm.

She is another empty vessel for Democratic marketing geniuses to fill with cheery slogans. Democrats don’t want decisive leaders to guide the nation. They don’t want a president with vision. They want someone they can control.

The name on the ballot doesn’t really matter. Kamala’s own thoughts don’t really matter. Her lack of insight and conviction is a plus. She won’t be able to oppose everything the machine wants, like wars, profits, or censorship.
