Kristaps Porzingis appears to be making progress in his rehab journey after the Celtics’ X account posted a clip of him working out on the court ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Nets. Captioned “Porzingis works pregame,” complete with the double-eyed emoji, the video hints at the stellar center’s upcoming return.

Porzingis had surgery in June for a torn medial retinaculum in his left leg, the recovery from which is expected to take five to six months.

“KP is in hiding,” said NBC Celtics insider Chris Forsberg. “What he does in warmups is very similar to what we saw in the playoffs – maybe even a step beyond.”

Despite suffering a leg injury in the first round of the playoffs, Porzingis played 16 minutes in the NBA Finals against the Mavericks.

The 10-3 Celtics beat the Nets on Wednesday night after a home loss to the Hawks on Tuesday. Porzingis traveled with the team while his leg recovered and attended both games.
