Leeds: Man charged with attempted murder after shooting

A West Yorkshire man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm after a vehicle was damaged in a shooting.

Patson Mafaune, 25, of Servia Drive, Leeds, appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

He has been charged as part of West Yorkshire Police’s investigation into a shooting which caused damage to a vehicle on Burley Road, Leeds, at around 17:10 BST on Thursday.

There were no injuries and police have asked anyone with information to contact them.
