Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy left Argentina just days before her tragic death.
On Monday, she posted a Tiktok video showing her traveling from the South American country to her home state of Florida.
In the vlog, Cassidy said she “was so ready to go” after spending two weeks there with the One Direction hitmaker, who stayed behind.
Cassidy said she and Payne originally planned to stay in Argentina for only “five days,” which is why she was so excited to be back in her own bed.
“I was just like, I need to go home,” she said in the video, which documented her flying experience.
Cassidy did not reveal why Payne remained in Buenos Aires. The couple visited the city capital earlier this month to attend former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert.
Payne died two days after Cassidy posted her TikTok. He was 31 years old.
According to TMZ, the hitmaker fell from the third floor balcony of his hotel room after “acting erratically” in the lobby.
He allegedly smashed his laptop and was taken back to his room. However, around 5 p.m. local time, Payne reportedly fell from his balcony.
It is unclear whether the incident was intentional or accidental.
