Emergency services respond to a protest at a building in Irlam this morning.
A large number of emergency crews are currently on scene on Brinell Drive in Irlam. A cordon is in place on both sides of the road.
Pro-Palestinian protesters reportedly “barricaded” themselves in the building of the Dean Group, a company that manufactures and supplies castings.

Palestine Action said in a statement: “Before 5am, a group broke into a Manchester-based weapons components manufacturer and dismantled machinery and equipment. Police have sealed off the premises and remain on the scene as activists continue to occupy Dean Group International.”
THE Manchester Evening News Crews were called to the scene at around 4.30am this morning (Monday). Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for further details.
The Dean Group has also been contacted for comment.
