LIVE Updates: Child hit by car as police block main road with paramedics at scene

A road in Oldham has been closed following a serious accident.

Officers closed Featherstall Road South at around 4.15pm this afternoon (Sunday). The closure is outside the East Pavilion wedding venue.




Paramedics are also on scene, and a police cordon is in place on both lanes of traffic. A small crowd of people was seen outside the venue after closing time.

THE Manchester Evening News According to reports, a child was hit by a vehicle outside the wedding venue. The child’s condition is currently unknown.

The closure is currently not causing any delays in the sector.
