Nobel laureate and activist Malala Yousafzai has teamed up with her partner at an Islamic ceremony in Birmingham.
The 24-year-old and her partner, Asser Malik, attended a nikah ceremony yesterday where the bride and groom agree to get married.
Malala, who has previously expressed reservations about the idea of marriage, tweeted the message, accompanied by photos of her in a pink dress, with Malik wearing a pink tie. He is the manager of the Pakistan cricket team.
