Police arrested a man Monday for allegedly pushing an 82-year-old woman onto the subway tracks in Queens.
Just before noon on Oct. 2, an attacker pushed the elderly woman off the platform and onto the train tracks at the Flushing-Main St. station, according to police. The attack was apparently random and the woman did not know her attacker, police said.
Harris Brandon, 35, was charged with attempted murder and assault, police said.
After the worrying flare-up, doctors transported the elderly woman to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition.
