Man fighting for life after being stabbed at north London tube station

A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed at a north London tube station.

Officers were called to Seven Sisters station shortly before 9am on Tuesday, British Transport Police said.

He was taken to hospital with life-threatening stab wounds.

Two women were arrested on suspicion of assault and battery, while another was also arrested on suspicion of common assault.

The metro station remains partially closed while officers carry out investigations, so passengers should expect a heightened police presence in the area.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
