Man shot and killed in Bronx apartment

A 33-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest during an argument in a Bronx apartment Saturday morning, police said.

Officers called to an apartment on Bivonia St. near Boston Road in Baychester — part of NYCHA’s Boston Secor Homes — just before 2 a.m. and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest .

Emergency services transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital where she died. His name was not released as police traced his loved ones.

The shooter, described as a thin man, 6 feet 3 inches tall, dressed in black with a black mask, was seen running from the apartment.

No arrests have been made. The victim and shooter were arguing before a shot was fired, but it was not immediately clear what the two were arguing about.

Police were canvassing the area Saturday looking for surveillance video that could help them identify the shooter.
