Manchester United have already identified their ‘powerful’ £ 101m replacement Paul Pogba – Omar Garrick

In a world that has lots of surprises, I think it would be a big shock if Paul Pogba decided to stay at Manchester United.

The 28-year-old midfielder has less than 12 months left on his current contract, and in the eyes one has to question why he wants to extend his stay at Old Trafford.

Pogba has caused a split in the United fan base in terms of his performance. While many people acknowledge his world-class talents, there is still a question mark about him. Some believe he does not provide consistent performance to guarantee a place with legendary status in the club.

I think it says something that Pogba has been at United since 2016 and there is still not a single song for him from the Old Trafford audience. When you consider that Bruno Fernandes has one and he’s been here for a little over a year and a half, that’s pretty telling.

Personally, I think Pogba is a great player, but do I think he is worth the effort he brings? Of course, it’s not his own fault, but I feel United would be in a better position to have a player who does not cause controversy. Otherwise, it just means people are starting to question your loyalty to the club.

There has been a lot of talk about who would switch to Pogba, and if United are to get any kind of money for him, they will have to sell in the January transfer window.

Another big point of discussion that comes with a Pogba sale would be who United would replace him with, but based on who they have been trying to sign on lately, I think they have already identified the perfect candidate .

The man in question is Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.

18-year-old Bellingham is one of the world’s greatest talents and plays as a box-to-box midfielder for both club and country.

He has recently received praise again after delivering a phenomenal performance in England’s 10-0 win over San Marino. Bellingham maintained a 93 percent passing accuracy, completed three successful dribbles, made two interceptions and even scored a goal, which was unfortunately ruled out by VAR.

His performance impressed so many people, and even Roy Keane was full of praise for him, describing Bellingham as a ‘strong, powerful boy’.

Speaking about Bellingham’s chances of getting to the World Cup in 2022, Keane said: “Absolutely, he has a great chance.

“He plays week in and week out for a top club and the potential for this boy is scary.

“I saw him recently in a Champions League match for Dortmund and he was producing passes that I did not think he had in his closet yet.

“We do not see him week after week, only the Champions League matches, but the potential of this boy …

“He’s a good size and he looks like a football player, a strong and powerful boy.

“Gareth (Southgate, England coach) has to rub his hands.”

United know all about Bellingham’s potential after trying to sign him from Birmingham City in 2020.

Bellingham took a walk around United’s training facilities with his family and was even greeted by Sir Alex Ferguson, who was picked up to persuade the youngster to join the club.

It was a race between Dortmund and Dortmund over his signature, but in the end Bellingham chose to move to Germany, where he thought he would have more playing time – a crucial element in any decision-making for a teenager.

There is no doubt that United will be in for Bellingham at the next available opportunity, but will have to move quickly as he is overseen by a host of clubs around the world.

He’s not getting cheap either. According to an article from PICTURE, Dortmund have given a price tag of £ 101 million. to the young player to try to ward off interest.

In my opinion, he will be the preferred replacement for Pogba if he leaves Old Trafford, but even if he does not, United will be fools for not making a move.

Will they do it? Time will tell, but they will regret not signing him if they do not.
